Exhibition

From October through to the 1st December 2018 we were lucky enough to exhibit these stories and memories at The Forum Theatre, Barrow in Furness. Thanks to generous funding from The Heritage Lottery Fund.

As part of the exhibition, we welcomed school groups who delved into the stories and uncovered part of our hidden past. This website was also used for school research projects.

We also ran a coffee event for the local National Lottery Players, to thank them with a free drink. This was a good opportunity for people to also take a look at the stories on display, and learn more about Barrow’s Shipyard Women of WW2.

Now that the exhibition has ended, we have collected some feedback:
